Progress
Only 2 lb off this week - bit dissappointing. I think I've not been timing my meals properly, having too big gaps during the day and then cramming the rest in together in the evening. I've set reminders on my phone now for every 3 hours, so hope that will help.
I've also not been swimming and think that doesn't help. Feeling a bit desperate for a swim, but can't go until my back's better.
Let's see what next week brings.

Progress
Huge weight loss this week - 5 lbs. Wasn't sure how much I'd lose this week, I've stuck to the plan but with a mile pool session and the Salford swim on Sunday, my schedule's been hectic and strenuous.
I was particularly worried about Sunday - I should have had 6 sachets, but was sick when I got back from Salford and only managed 5.
But I'm really happy and have just changed my bracelt to a big silver bead and four glass ones, because I've lost 1 stone 4 lbs in just 4 weeks!

Great Salford Swim
Did the Great Salford Swim today. I'm shattered!
It was 1 mile in the very cold water of Salford Quays, in the rain and wind. It took me an hour and 20 mins - and I hurt my back about 5 mins in, so was in agony most of the time. Still, I did it, and raised over £1,500 for Dr Kershaw's Hospice.
I took some food with me for before the swim, and a drink for afterwards. But when I got home I felt so rough - shaky and queasy - and then I was sick. Not a good day really.
Once I'd thawed out I felt much better though, and got on with cooking dinner for my support team. My sister and mum bought some food with them too, so we had a buffet dinner - just green salad for me though!

Progress so far
Lost another 2 lb this week, despite being away and not fully in control (I'm sure there was a bit of extra oil and veg in my dinners, but they did taste lovely!).
People are starting to notice now, especially my face apparently, which is great. I can't really tell as I see myself every day - but my trousers are definitely more roomy!
I'm finding the forum a really big help for ideas and support - and still finding it relatively easy.

Holiday
Had a lovely break.
The hotel was fabulous - I had my own mini menu with three or four dishes on it, all on plan!
The waitress even made my oatmeal for breakfast, and they didn't mind me taking in my own dessert - they just bought me a spoon when they bought my husband his pudding.
The food was lovely - it would have been an absolute treat to eat it. With a Michelin starred chef and an emphasis on local produce, it was foodie heaven. But I'm focussed and stay on plan, even drinking just water or tea all weekend. The food I took with me all lasted - fortunately there was a fridge in our room which helped. The salad was a bit tired by Sunday, but hey ho - I can live with wilted lettuce once in a while.
Went for a swim in the river Frome - this picture helps me focus on why I'm doing this - just look at the size of my bum!
Before leaving we visited the deli shop in the pub's car park - fresh veg from the market for me (including some lovely field mushrooms, fresh rhubarb and asparagus), and some local cheeses for hubby. (I miss cheese, but the force is strong...)

Going Away
Going away tomorrow for a long weekend we booked months ago. The hotel has agreed to make my evening meels on plan, so hopefully I'll be OK. Going to take a few things with me made up (omlettes, cheese and chive muffins, chocolate dessert and some salads), so will have to have a session making them in the morning before we leave.
Hope they all stay fresh enough to eat until Sunday! We've got a car fridge, so that should help.
Wish me luck!
